Hello Penguins!

The Music Jam is out and I've got to admit it's awesome! There are no new rooms, but there are a whole bunch of new items! Lots for members and… well, 1 for non-members… But the non-member item is pretty cool! It actually looks like a hat members could wear!

To get the first item (which is for non-members) go to the Cove and waddle to the box full of caps. A message should pop out – click yes if you want to pick it up or no if your don't want to pick it up and you penguin is just being lazy.. hah!

The new hat is pretty cool! As I said before, it's something members would actually wear! It's really that cool… Now, members can buy lots of new items! Waddle to the Snow Forts or to the Ski Village if you would like to buy any even  more clothing.

Update: There's even more clothing at the Ice Berg! The items at the Ice Berg are for members only too but this ones are more like Penguin Band exclusives. You can buy G Billy's bandanda, Frankys exclusive T-shirt and much more! Check it out: (Thanks JAM4798)

If I were you, I would of course buy the backstage pass first. This pass gives you access to the Backstage and to the Rooftop. Here's a picture of both rooms so non-members know what they look like:

Members can pick up 2  free items at this rooms. You can pick up a boom box at the Rooftop or/and a green Music Jam t-shirt at the backstage. Pretty cool, huh?

Members can also buy instruments! Head to the backstage and waddle to the box full of instruments to buy some! There are a few new instruments, so make sure to check 'em out!

My favorite item at the party is the Oil Slick Guitar. I would buy it if I had some spare coins but I don't, I ran out of money since December… So what do you think? Are you enjoying the Music Jam? I am for sure!

Login Screen Secret

Today i went on Club Penguin and on the Login Screen it shows a Penguin next to the Login Button. And the shirt he or she is wearing hasn't been in the Penguin Style before. So I think that might be the Music Jam Shirt for the Music Jam 2011. Cool isn't it? Take a look!

I thought it was the Music Jam Shirt because inside the bubbles there are music notes and a Penguin dancing! Comment below so I can see what you think!

New Club Penguin Login Screen is Back!

When I went to play Club Penguin today, I noticed that they brought back the new log in screen. In case you didn’t know, they added a new log in screen, went back to the old log in screen, and now Club Penguin brought back the new one again.

Do you like the new log in screen or the old log in screen better? I noticed Club Penguin doesn’t have the blog link or unlock items online on the new one, but I still like it better. Let us know which one is your favorite by leaving a comment.

New Club Penguin Happy77 Video: Coffee Breaks Beat

Today Happy77 uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel. It shows some sneak peaks from the Music Jam 2011 including decorations. It also shows many different Club Penguin employees with their coffee mugs making beats! Here is the video below.

Penguin Band Updates Their Look!

Well their new 2011 look has been revamped and here it is with them playing at the Iceberg.

You can see that this year, they’ve decided to change their genre of music to a more electronic rock style versus their traditional country genre. I wonder if this year, they’ll decide to give out a new exclusive background!

Club Penguin Reviewed By You: Favorite Song

Today on the Community Blog, Billybob has made his weekly post for the Reviewed by You. Last week the team asked what our favorite musical instrument was and many penguins said the piano. Sunihh said:
My favorite would be the piano because you can give a soft tone or something to rock with! Also you can go so high or so low depending on the mood. You can create a master piece with the piano! I play the piano and write songs all the time, I do this because it either makes me feel happy, sad, angry, and maybe it just makes you want to dance! That is why I like the piano the best! Club Penguin Blog Post: History of the Penguin Band

Today Billybob made a new post on his blog. He said our guesses were right. The Penguin Band has changed their look for the fourth time, according to Club Penguin.
Their first look appeared in 2005 during Penguin Chat 3. The band was blue and all played different instruments.

The group’s first appearance in Club Penguin was in 2006. They had different colors and instruments. They were also a Hawaiian Band:

Then for the past few years, they were a country band with different colors, instruments, and different extras.

Now, the Penguin Band is more modern and a lot more detailed. Club Penguin was inspired by the penguins around Club Penguin and their bands. They wanted the Penguin Band to have a style like you. Now instead of just country, they’re also into rock, alternative and electronic music.
Many bands change their styles. Maybe the Penguin Band will change again.
